REDEFINING HEALTHCARE

EMPOWERING YOU to MAKE INFORMED HEALTHCARE DECISIONS

In today's world, traditional medicine is not working. Many providers are faced with overwhelming workloads, limited by the ever-tightening restrictions of corporate healthcare and insurance regulations. Patients are often left feeling unheard and invalidated. At Nautilus Integrative, we are taking medicine back by changing the way deliver care. I take the time to learn each patient’s story, to listen, and to look for the underlying cause of symptoms

As a naturopathic doctor and nurse practitioner, I offer a unique blend of traditional healing wisdom and modern medical science. My personalized approach focuses on treating you as a whole person, not simply addressing symptoms. At Nautilus Integrative Medicine, I provide comprehensive care for those dealing with chronic illness, seeking to enhance their overall well-being, or looking for preventative solutions. My approach emphasizes a blend of nutritional support, natural therapies, lifestyle changes, and traditional medical treatments. Prescription medications are also available when appropriate to ensure the most effective care.

By addressing the root causes of illness and promoting optimal health, I empower you to take control of your health and achieve lasting, sustainable wellness.

I have been a nurse since 1998, with experience in diverse fields such as neurology, obstetrics, hospice, and emergency medicine. Some of the most inspiring moments of my career came from my volunteer work at The Hole in The Wall Gang Camp and on the schooner Harvey Gamage with Barefoot Workshops, where I also served as a nurse. These experiences taught me to view medicine holistically, considering the entire life and spirit of the patient.

Over time, I realized that true healing goes beyond prescription drugs and medical devices. It involves laughter, quality moments, understanding the body's wisdom, providing nutrients and safe environments, removing obstacles to healing, utilizing the planet's gifts, and embracing each person's individuality and strengths.

I graduated as a Naturopathic Physician in 2011 and started Bodhi Naturopathic.  I have worked as adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Bridgeport in the Naturopathic program, and enjoyed the teaching experience immensely. In the spring of 2021, I completed a Master of Science in Nursing and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

As a Naturopathic Doctor and Nurse Practitioner, I enjoy using all of the gorgeous tools that medicine offers to help people achieve wellness, as well as the awe that I consistently experience in the process.  Bodhi Naturopathic has evolved to Nautilus Integrative Medicine, and I am excited to provide great care in our beautiful new location.

When not at the office, I enjoy gardening, exercising, amateur-ish home renovation, putting my feet in the sand at the beach, and spending many wonderful moments with my friends and family.

Diet and Lifestyle Counseling

Dr. Zambarano works with each patient to develop an individualized nutrition plan to encourage optimal metabolism, digestion, and health.  We look for sensitivities, allergies, and digestive issues that impact the way your body uses the food you eat. Sleep, stress, exercise, emotional health, and social support are also addressed.

02

Laboratory Testing

Both traditional and specialty lab testing are used to obtain a comprehensive picture of a person's wellness.  These tests allow in-depth evaluation of health and nutritional status, and provide the opportunity to create a truly individualized treatment plan.

Supplements and Medications

We use professional-grade, high quality vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements to correct nutritional deficiencies and optimize the body's function at a cellular level.  Patients are provided with an online dispensary link to order their recommended nutritional supplements.  When needed, prescription medication can also be provided as part of the healthcare plan.
